Photographer’s Note

This street in Montevideo runs beside the Artigas Train Station, and old but pretty building that is no longer in use as such.
I shot this picture aiming my camera towards the main avenue, 18 de Julio. Because I had no tripod, I rested the camera on the shoulder of the friend that was travelling with me —not quite a sturdy thing to do but worked.
The days I stayed there were gray, humid, rainy and overcast, therefore the overall colour of the photo. In the background to the left and beside those maple trees, the building of the Hotel Amazonas can be seen —Montevideo's postcard. I posted a workshop to show it.

Increased colour saturation 5%, USM (20/50/0), auto levels and curves.
