Esta foto la tomé desde el barco que nos transportaba de regreso de la zona conocida como Monte de Ombúes, sobre el arroyo Valizas. Esta zona se caracteriza por ser un lugar casi único en el mundo ya que posee un bosque integrado únicamente por ombúes, junto a la laguna de Castillos y su extensión es de casi de 23 km. El dia estaba precioso, pero cuando ibamos a visitar este lugar, se vino una tormenta que pense que no nos permitiria visitar y fotografiar este maravilloso lugar. Luego se despejo y pudimos continuar. Parte de dicho bosque puede apreciarse en el horizonte de la foto. Si alguna vez visitan Rocha, este es un lugar al que deben ir.. con una suficiente espacio para tomar muchas fotografias!. Espero que les guste

I took this picture from the boat which take us back from the location known as "Monte de Ombues" on Valizas stream. It is a unique place almost in the world because there are only Ombú trees, close to the Castillos lagoon and it extension is 23 km large. The day was beautiful by the morning, but when we went to this place, a storm suddenly appeard and threatened our tour. After that, the clouds disappeard and let us continue. You can see a part of this Ombú forest on the photo's horizon. I you ever visit Rocha, this is a place you must visit... with enough space in your memory cards to take a lot of pictures!. Hope you like it. |
