Photographer’s Note

The National Park of Santa Teresa is a natural protected area, and at the same time a camping zone. In this place you can find the huge Santa Teresa Fortress. Portuguese formerly begun to build it in 1762. Then the Spanish took it and finished it.
Santa Teresa Park is at Rocha State, over the 306 kilometer of the 9 route.
The picture was taken in my lastest vacation. It was taken from inside of one of its watching towers. From there you can see a large area of land and sea.

Hey Picardo, nice exposure and sharp focus, but I'm struggling to see what is meant to be the centre of attention. The rock in the foreground is overwhelming and the archway is very dark. Paul.

I like the natural framing of the arch to lead your reader to the stark fort and landscape beyond ... to discover more.
