Photographer’s Note

This area is located around 30 km at south of Borderline with Brazil. If you pay attention you will see the line of water of the second biggest lake of Uruguay in the background (Laguna Negra). I arrived in the place early in the morning and I was obligated to wait to visit another fort. While this time I became to walk around and I discover the natural life of the place, including native plants and birds. They were wakening and there were lots of birds around. Unfortunately I were obligated to use all zoom of my camera to get this image, what didn't give it all the quality I wanted. Here we can see 2 kinds of native doves, 2 parekeets and, if you pay attention, a little brown bird, called João-de-Barro and named Hornero in Argentina. This bird builds this interesting nests made by clay and you can see the building in the tree and the bird is located few centimeters above. I did an WORKSHOP to show him.
