Photographer’s Note

Tranquilidad es lo que uno puede sentir cuando pasa unas vacaciones en Cabo Polonio. En un pueblo sin electricidad y donde no hay mucho para hacer aparte de dormir, hacer playa o caminatas entre sus ranchos y las dunas que hay en la zona. El rancho de la foto es uno de los más alejados que existen en el lugar antes de adentrarse en un mar de arena. La mayoría de los ranchos que hay en Cabo Polonio son como este; hechos de madera y con techo de chapa o quinchados. Espero que les guste.

Tranquility is what you can feel when you spend your vacations in Cape Polonio. In a town without electricity and where there are no other activity than sleeping, go to the beach or walking between the ranchs and dunes of the area. The ranch of the picture is one the perimeter of the town and one of the last before entering a sea of sand. Most of the ranch in Cape Polonio are like this one, made of wood and with plate ceiling. Hope you like it.

Marquicio,
The lighting here is outstanding giving the scene a warm calming appearance. The rustic cabin blends in well with the colors of it's surroundings. The photo has nice sharpness and detail as well. I like you composition and POV with the placing of the cabin to one side of the shot and including the old wagon wheel on the other.

muy buena foto, me gusta la amplitud del paisaje y la luz es muy calida con colores suaves. Tal vez le falta un poco de profundidad

es una cabaña muy inetressante, lo tiempo he passado por ella y he resistido hasta ahora. Me hace recordar pisajes norte-americanas. Muy bonita la luz, los colores suaves y el punto de vista. Estoy planeando conocer esta region de uruguay en mis vacaciones.
