Photographer’s Note

I took this picture near a friend dairy farm (tambo = dairy farm), it is nothing special, but I like the landscape.
The land with the fardo (fardo = grass roll, I don't know the english word) to feed the cattle at time on food's scarce.
The cattle ranch and agriculture are the main activity in our country. In addition to some small industry, the tourism and growing faster the software's industry... of which I am part ;)
This place is 9km from San Ramon

Hi Ana, this picture portraits quite well my stereotype impressions of Urugay - wide grassland with cattle on it. I know that it isn't just that, but still ...
The composition is simple but nice and the alternating cattle with the grass rolls makes it quite interesting shot. My only critique is that you should have choosen a different time of the day to get it. There is to much light and the air is completely saturated. A circular polarizing filter might have helped or waiting until the shadows would be more more proeminent - late afternoon.
Greetings and Happy New Year!
Peter
