Photographer’s Note

Boat driver is trying to go more faster, after hours of his delay. But his speed couldn't enough because we stuck at the junction point between Nickerie River and a small water canal due to missing of high tide period. Then next boat passengers, boat drivers and a photographer -beacuse I was shooting the scene ;)- pulled out the boat to higher water level WS1. How water was more lower at same junction point during our return -low tide- time WS2.

Nickerie River is located in the northwestern part of Suriname. The Nickerie River rises in the Bakhuys Mountains ("Bakhuysgebergte" in Dutch) and then flows to the North where it forms part of the border between the Coronie and Nickerie districts. The river then turns West and flows into the Atlantic Ocean via Wageningen and Nieuw-Nickerie.

Converted from RAW.

Many cheers you to all,
