Photographer's Note
Saint Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Cathedral is in central Paramaribo, the capital of Suriname. It is made entirely of wood and is the largest wooden structure in the western hemisphere. It is made of Surinamese cedar.
The building was lovingly restored in 2002.
