Photographer’s Note
My wife, two of my sons, and myself went to visit some friends on a banana plantation. We had not seen them for two years. This little guy suddenly appeared from behind the wooden slats that make up a window. I couldn't get the camera fast enough. He was shy of the "foreigners". The plantation is called "Jarikaba" and is located about 15 km west of Paramaribo, the capital city.
