Beautiful shot of the river and the fisherman is a perfect finishing touch. I lived in Suriname for two years and loved these rainstorms as one could hear them coming. I'm sure you're used to it, but thanks for that memory.

The light and the colors in this composition are impressive, your photos of this river always have a great interest, for its quality and chromatism.
The sight that you have caught in this setting with a wide angle is magnificent and deep and the symmetry created by the horizon line gives a lot of strength to the scene.
The boat with the fishermen and the solitary fisherman in the shore they offer the vital and dynamic touch, and the great beauty of the clouds and the sky, with its nice reflections in the water, complete an extraordinary image.
A great work, as usual.

Hi Ertugrul,

Remarkable picture from Suriname. At first sight it looks like a typical Dutch scene with a large water surface with fisherman’s element and the clouds in the sky, but then I find out that there was another association with Holland.

A perfectly split 1/2 frame, proper for a reflection. The reflection is great and the cloud formation well captured and seen. As for the human figures they remind me of japanese paintings.

Great light control and fantastic deep perspective, with gorgeous reflections of the sky. One has the sensation that is possible to touch the clouds there.

Another nice one of this waterland! The divide in the middle brings nice visual impact doubled by the reflections and water textures. Correct contrast and sharpness levels.

what a low sky! I thought that only in norther countries you have clouds so low. It gives the sense of the imminent rainstorm. Beutiful reflections on the water and the solitary small figure makes the place even more wide!
Another charming atmosphere that you managed to capture.

Olá Ertugrul, to be honest this one is not so impressive as others from you, but any photo of your river and sky is always a pleasure to look at. The imense sky and its lovely reflections...and some silhouettes, so simple, so peaceful. Beautiful. I see the fishermen, but they are so far away...

beautiful compo, I liked the way that clouds are, very opressive over the waters bellow them. The small details in the line of horizont are very nice too, this image creates an opressive mood, we can feel the storm arriving
