Photographer’s Note

Sinked fisherman boat on Suriname River's muddy bed during low tide period. Color differences on muddy surface shows different type of alluvions that brought by Suriname River from interior of Amazon Rain Forest. Surface textures and colors of Suriname River bed can be change also from gray to brown, or to yellow depends of light, seasons and rains.

A very nice landsacpe, a view very well composed with the red boat which arise in the Fg and a great prospect. the incerdible color of the water is very well collected. An athmospher of immensity.

What a scene! Incredible wide angle capture withe characteristic 1/2 frame and same colors, but with the inclusion of that boat that really makes a difference and it's its very strong point.

Waw! what can be said about that marvel!? Every superlative is appropriate: sharpness, depth, colours, contrast, light, everything is at top level, including the sky. And the elegant shape of the boat in fg is just what one needs for perfection!

Great color contrast here between the overall earth and sky tones, and the strong colors of the small boat. The strong reds (and the greens) stand out even more because there isn't that much of them. Very good positioning, too (I just feel it could have been a bit farther from the edge). A nice culture photo, as well.

The low tide had left a beautiful effect on the beach with wet sand, but the contrast and depth that is combined with the clouds in the sky is impressive.

I like the naturalness of the environment and the composition with the boat through. It is a beautiful work.

Wonderful sky seen above the wide low-tide Suriname River Delta.
Magnificent clouds seen looming over these richly textured mud flats. The stand of lush green tropical trees adds a brilliant contrast to sky and sea.

I though I had already critiqued this beauty. Besides the usual amazing sense of perspective and the fascinating sky, I like the use of colours in the compo and the patterns in the dark sand, that seems to complement the sky. It's a great photo!
