Photographer’s Note

First visitors are already on Leonsberg’s pier an early morning and boats are waiting for their first return to New Amsterdam. Muddy Suriname River is between high and low tide. Next boats will arrive with a lot of inhabitants from New Amsterdam. Leonsberg is a useful and cheaper shortcut between New Amsterdam and Paramaribo. Otherwise people must drive or get ride three times long (15 km, 9.5 mi) way especially with their light motorcycles.

This is untouched frame except resizing and slightly sharpening.

This one is a very beautiful dawn and good caught in your composition. The light is wonderful, and produces a great effect of orange tones that are mixed in a good contrast by the blue tones of the sky and the silver tones of the water.
The reflexes of the Sun in the water have a great aesthetic effect.

I was already missing these impressive views of yours. As usual, the compo couldn't be more wise and nice, very effective use of the grandiosity of the place and the sunset light. Quite moody, with the silhouettes of what looks like a couple with a baby son enjoying the sunset.
