Dans les petites rues de Cuzco, un peu à l'écart mais jamais bien loin des touristes. Comme partout dans le monde les enfants jouent au ballon, et les touristes se font proposer tout pleins de trucs plus ou moins exotiques. En revanche, mon ami Mathieu est en train de manger du Pop-Corn gigantesque, comme ici (en workshop). Fait de Maîs à grains énormes qui n'est qu'une des milliers de variétés péruviennes: le meilleur rampart contre l'hégémonie agri-industrielle reste la diversité!

In the little side-streets of Cuzco, out of the way but always close to tourists. Like everywhere in the world kids play with a ball and tourists are offered lots of trinkets more or less exotic. On the other hand, my friend Mathieu here is eating Giant Pop-Corn, just like this one (in workshop). Made from giant-grain corn that is only one of thousands of peruvian varieties: diversity remains the best protection against unbridled ago-industrilal hegemony.

Bonjour Bruno,
Tres étonné que cette scène de vie journalière n'ait pris aucun points. Je suis ravi d'y apposer 2 points en premier. Ce que j'aime le mieux c'est la lumière diffuse qui nous permet d'apprécier chaque détail ainsi que la photo qui termine son horizon avec ses marches au lieu d'un ciel blanc dans ces circonstances.

Hello Bruno,

I like this image of the scene from Cuzco, where I have never visited, but have long appreciated from photographs. The verticality of the topography is accentuated, and the few people in bright colors create a dramatic highlight.
