Hello Wanda,
This photo is as cute as it gets. This little girl cradling her precious little baby (ie puppy) is one of the most endearing photos that I have ever seen. Your photograph is also very sharp with excellent composition. The clothing in Latin America is always so beautiful and colorful. Your gentle and kind capture in such an insane world is marvelous to view and also is very good for the soul. This lovely portrait of the little girl and her friend gets two thumbs up (or paws up) from me! Great job!

You were already shooting when you were 22 years old! LOL! What an expimented photographer you are!

This is an excellent portrait Wanda and I really like the composition; shooting the little girl at her level, surrounded by adults who wear the same dresses is very brilliant. They even have the same sandals!... A real MiniMe... :-P) To see your subject absorbed with the little dog, in her own universe makes this photo very compelling.

It's a good thing that you've bought yourself a negative scanner, so we will all take advantage of your earlier masterpieces!

You already know how to use that scanner efficiently, as the colours are naturally vivid and the sharpness is conclusive.

A good take of the little girl with same dress and sandals as the big ones! She got nice flowery head gear and her expression in cuddling her pet is so cite! Sharpness and colors are good quality. Good scan!

The two are just too much, Wanda! Sweet as milk chocolate or cherry pie or both. She seems completely in her own world playing with the little dog, and you had the shot "of the shots" that never comes twice. Wow a scan, this came out really well! Cute ... I love it. Barbara.

I find it difficult to resist such a tender shot.Such a natural spontaneity between the little girl and her puppy.
The background is perfect, a sense of security, protection emanates from it, the harmony of the dresses.
You must have been kneeling for this one, good idea as we are looking level at her eyes.

Mijn eerste vraag is natuurlijk welke scanner?
Mijn tweede vraag is was dit beneden in het dorpje of boven bij de ruines waar ik mijn moeder met kind heb gemaakt?
De scan is erg goed gelukt, alle details en kleuren zijn prominent aanwezig. Scherpte en contrast is perfect, dus we kunnen vast en zeker nog meer juweeltjes uit Peru verwachten.

Wanda: a really cute on. Congratulations on the new scanner - I think it takes time to learn how to correct with them. I have one (the Canon FS4000) and I'm not really happy with the quality, even at 4000dpi. I think this picture is a little too dark? The shadows? I'm sure you'll iimprove on the adjustments as I keep trying to do as well. regards, c

This image is too beautiful and heartwarming. As a father of a little daughter I feel emotion when I see little children with a smile on their faces. Me gustan mucho los colores y la ternura de la escena, la niña sonriente con la cabeza llena de flores blancas, el cachorrito chusco, rodeados de las mujeres que los protegen. (los pies con los Llanques u ojotas)
Al lado derecho está una rueca de hilado; estos hilos se tiñen y se usan para tejer y bordar esa ropa tan ricamente adornada.

opening your gallery I just saw in your intro this shot and couldn't help myslef but open and express a big Oooooh!
A real beauty that would fit into any serious travel or cultural magazine like NGM. I'm quite amazed by the quality that you achieved with the scanning process. A great shot in every respect!
