Verónica and its cow Photo

Photographer’s Note

On the road returning to the highway connecting Cuzco to Urubamba after visiting the Maras Salt Pans, I told the driver to stop a minute to let me take this picture through the window. The mountain is Verónica, the yellow ground is due to cut and dried wheat or barley plants. Because winter is the dry season, harvest is done at this time of the year. And the cow, well, it was just there, so I positioned to the extreme right and experimented.

Gorgeous scenery. I like the mix of dramatic sky, snow-capped mountains, and yellow grassy field. Too bad that cow couldn't be a little bit more to the left though, he's a bit too close to the edge.

Merci de nous faire partager ces merveilleux paysages.
L'image est parfaitement scanée et le numérique ne peut rivaliser avec ce tirage de qualité.
Cependant le taureau aurait dû être positionné un peu plus à gauche.

Thanks for making us share these marvellous landscapes. The picture is scaned perfectly and the numerical one cannot compete with this good quality shot.
However the bull should have been positioned a little on the left.

Veronica is beautiful like a her name! :-) And yes, ofcourse those clouds are for me always miraculous. You did here also veri nice lines with grasly ground and first dark mountain. And finaly, you wish that it was a cow, it like more to be a bullfighter on it`s holiday destination! :-)) ;-)

Impactante imagen de semejante pico nevado.
La composicion lograda con esa leve diagonal color oro y el animal a la derecha, conforman una excelente imagen.
