I like the way you captured it, angle and composition are really great. all these lines, diagonals, perspective, showing a very good study.
the light and shadow, also great, giving sense of 3 dimentions of the picture. and the cloud .. simply a great background

Uma fotografia excelente na vertical, ótima composição...aquela casinha ao fundo, no alto é um detalhe encantador. Gosto da textura, das cores e dessa neblina que traz um pouco de mistério à imagem.

Charles, again very nice shot. The thumbnail doesn't jumb out but once opened the photo is super. I love the depth of this shot, the mid ground is really a long way away. Great capture.

Great series that you are running of Peru and Machu Pichu. You have some very original shots with fresh perspectives. This one has a nice shot up the walkway between the walls and with the distance guard house in view, just leading our eyes straight to it. The clouds in the sky are good too, because most shots I've seen of this place have a perfectly clear sky, so this adds another dimension. Well done!

It is a very nice picture of a famous heritage site. And very different too. I like the huge cloud about to close in the background buildings where most people is. The POV is superb and the colours very good. Well done.

Bonjour Charles,
Un choix judicieux pour la présentation de ce site tout en hauteur. Ce lourd nuage dans lequel on aperçoit un peu de bleu céleste hyperpolarisé, crée l'atmosphère idéal de ces lieux antiques et secrets.
Très beau document.

The early morning mist is great for creating atmosphere and coupled with the good light you have a winning formula. The detail in the stones of the gable is incredible. another excellent shot.
I'm pretty sure I was standing at the guardian house to take the llama photo, although it's a long time ago now. You might remember if that's a possibility.
