Photographer’s Note

I was on the plaza at the center of the vilage on Taquile Island. As my group was just enjoying the life there, I was shooting crazy with my friend's zoom. Some pics were good, some not...

This old woman was with the two children behind her on that place. On a couple of other pictures, she's smiling as the children seemed to enjoy themselves. Then they ran behind her for some reason unknown to me. And then, I caught that picture... I wonder what happened...

Hi Simon,
Lovely daily life photo. The lady has a great expression and her facial features tell a million stories. The children appear to be twins, cute. I love the background it is perfect. Nice one.

Excellent capture. The strong light has brought out the vibrancy of the colours. She looks almost furtive, but I bet she has her hands full with the two small children.
