This black-and-white version is nice. Don't know if I can decide if I like one version or the other better. The color version is nice because the variety of colors give a sense of the "life" ... in this black-and-white image, I am more keen on getting some kind of insight into this person's nature. Bringing out the eyes from the shadows would really make this version of the image arresting. Maybe less important an element to me in the color version. Good work both ways!

Je préfère la version N&B. L'importance des formes prend de la valeur et n'est pas influencé par les couleurs. Le caractère de la photo s'en ressent énormèment. Beau cliché.

En général, je ne critique pas les personnages car je ne sais pas en parler. Ici par contre, le NB convient très bien.
L''expression de cette femme est bien mise en valeur
Jolie lumière qui donne l'ombre sur le regard.

Pour ma part, je préfère la version couleur. On peut y profiter de toute la variété des belles couleurs vives des vêtements.

Retour au style d'une des photos précédentes bien venu pour celle-ci également.
Bien équilibré malgré une légère surexpo pour conserver visible le regard de la femme.

Je suis d'accord avec quetzal, les couleurs "distrayantes" sont gommées par le passage en monochrome.
En tout cas : très beau portrait.

Ce portrait est vraiment bien réalisé. Le noir et blanc amène un coté reportage à la prise de vue ! Le cadrage est parfait. Juste un poil surex mais je chipotte !

...I like BW portraits if theres some more contrast between colors of clothes, means many different colors, it gives some calm to the face, it takes it out, and this one is amazing 'couse the lady seems to be too young to be a grandmum!!!!
