Climbing on a steepy ridge. A little ascent in the 'cordillera bianca' in Peru. On the background, you can see a little piece of the Toclaraju, a 6000 m high summit.

salut Laurent

philippe

A precarious moment captured beautifully.
Makes you feel on the edge.
TFS.

Très belle photographie de haute montagne. Mieux ne valait pas glisser.

Christophe

Perfect mountaineering photo! Respect!)
but isn't it a descent (I mean, on the photo itself)? could be a part of ascent, of course).
Anyway, I just wanted to say thank you for a beautiful picture. I am glad that in such conditions people remember about the camera.
Maybe lightening shadows a little bit would make this mountain view look "higher"?..

A outstanding dynamic and dramatic picture composition. The landscape and the extreme sportsmen are outstanding photographed. Also light and shade make the photo worth seeing. A very beautiful picture. Many greetings, Wolfgang.

Hi Laurent

All I can say is wow! That is just hardcore and quite beautiful.

Bonsoir Laurent,

A shot with loads of impact. You did well to capture it so well Laurant. I'm a little suprised that none of the climbers seem to be in a belay position ! If one fell the whole lot would go !
Hopefully they all survived the climb.

Regards Chris

Laurent this is a double winner: not only the energy and achievement of the climbers but also the majestic scenery. The overall composition and superb quality - look at that top notch exposure of the snow - make it a winning pic. Got it really right. Thanks for sharing!

Excellent sense of mood you've captured here. It looks fierce and foreboding. Great clarity in the details of the mountains. The lighting is very dramatic. It favored you well at that moment to capture the textures of the snow and rocks.

Excelent:)

Hello Laurent
Your mountain-pictures are beautiful. This one is special. The people on the steepy ridge are making this shot more than a postcard. Excellent DOF, composition and colours.

Huub de K.

Salut Laurent,
vincent

Very good picture, especially - because of how difficult is to take a picture on such a terrain!

Bonsoir Laurent,

Amicalement,
Stéphanie.

Bonjour Laurent,

Magnifique paysage montagnard. On en prend plein les poumons. C'est vertigineux, attention au faux pas.
Belle lumière et netteté.
Beau travail.

Bien amicalement.

salut!

Superbe !! Bravo !!

hello,

This is the real mountaineering photo. Great composition and light taken despite so difficult conditions. You start to take pictures in places where I begin to turn back and descent:) Thanks for sharing such outstanding views.

Wojtek

Salut Laurent.

Amazing picture, wonderful scenery. rgds, chris

Hi Laurent,
Good picture at all...
I've climbed the highest mountain of Turkey (5.157 m), called Agri (Ararat) Mountain years ago...
I've remembered those days... It was exciting and fantastic...
Thanks for reminding me those feelings...
Best
Hakan

Great mountaineering shot, true sense of adventure, I wish I was there.
