Photographer’s Note
This is another shot from that mad dash in the rain earlier this spring. I did a fair amount of pst work to bring this one out. I used separate curves for the whole and color selected dark greens. I also increased saturation by +10 and contrast by +3. FInally I cropped the thing at a 1:2 ratio to emphasize the rainbow. This is the result.

And the result is stunning. What a perfect timing, what a very proper association !
I especially like the visible division of light' conditions below and above the rainbow.
The forground's terraces are joyfully lit while the cloudy mountains - rather mysterious and unknown. Great image.
