Photographer’s Note
This group of curious kids came up to me as I was walking through the village of Tipon, about 30 km east of Cusco in southern Peru. Tipon is truly one of the poorest and most rural areas I saw in Peru, but the people were friendly and welcoming.
The kids here seemed to be excited that I wanted to take their photo and posed eagerly. After I took the photo I showed it to them on the LCD and they giggled and squealed, pointing and laughing at each other.
It's one of my favorite memories from my trip to Peru.

The picture is well arranged. In the background is the vague landscape. In the foreground right the children stand. The face expression of the children is interesant. With the children also the important color accent is set. The picture pleases me well. Many greetings, Wolfgang

I would say a nice composition here. Not only the kids, you show their living environment as well.

What an incredibly charming, non-pretentious yet, extremely well composed picture.
It's relax for my eyes and my restless soul.
This is one of these photos to study the scene in which it was taken.
Checking the wardrobe of the kids, the landscape behind them, noticing this, noticing that…
And the colors - gentle palette of a good painter.
Thanks for sharing this beauty with us, Todd.
cheers
g.
