Machu Picchu is one of the great wonders of the world that everyone should visit, it makes you feel in another world. This was the main city of the Inca Empire that dominated this part of the continent between 1000 and 1500 a.c. and served its purpose to protect the Inca leaders from the spanish invasion, being in a remote and inaccesible area.
