Photographer's Note
Lake Titicaca is the highest commercially navigable lake in the world, at 3821 m above sea level. It is also South America's largest freshwater lake, with a surface area of approximately 8300 square kilometres.
The lake is shared by Peru and Bolivia. This shot is in the Peruvian side, on a trip from the coast to the island of Taquile.
About 1,700 people live on Taquile island, which is 5.5 by 1.6 km in size. The inhabitants are Quechua language speakers.
Taquileños are known for their fine handwoven textiles and clothing. The work of spinning and weaving is primarily done by the men.

Hi Daniel,
Lovely capture of these interesting people.I really like how you caught their natural expressions and body language.Good composition making sure the man stearing wasn't missed out.The white is maybe a touch bright but I guees you had strong sunlight to deal with.Well done.

Hi Daniel.
What impress me so much of this lake is its dark blue colour.
It seems that commuters have really a big topic to discuss.
Great capture, frame is nicely divided between the boat, tha lake and the sky.

Hi Daniel,
Great portrait of this four men in the boat. Its clothes and their cap, as well as the beautiful bronzed color of their skin is very pleasant.
The photo has very good definition, good lighting and beautiful and saturated colors.
Nice shot.

Hi Daniel,
Beautiful sunny and colourful picture. The man seems to argue if they are happy with the way you take this picture. But if you posted this lovely photo I think they did agree.

Hi Daniel,
This is a interesting and so well taken picture shot that you took so nicely in a close approach angle to these people crossing the lake Titicaca. Splendid perspective and fine enquadrement scenery view. The light and colors are a must here. Nice atmosphere, contrasting with the blue tone.
These words are only my appreciation and the way I see good work like this one you post to TE.
Very well seen, clear picture and a excelent composition. Congratulations and have a nice weekend.

Hi Daniel
Again a lovely picture from you...I like the colour contrasts & the fabulous colours of the headgears. The men appear to be in a intense conversation. One thing I noticed is the fabric of their headgear is similar to the bag in your post "The dream of a bag"

Hi, Daniel!
One powerfull, dinamic scene of portraits! They are so bussy and emotional... I like composing (or croping) when people are on full size of picture.

Ivars.

Hi Daniel,
I really like the string colors in your compo and the way the men almost fill the frame. Also good is the way you have framed the men with the deep blue of the lake. Like David, I also like the natural expressions you captured,
