Photographer’s Note
This are the lonely quiet streets of the town of Mito (Myth in english, thus "mythical streets" :) ) Mito was the end of an 8 km walk that we took inbetween mountains, shepards and lonely highlands.
The streets are empty as Mito is an agricultural town, and people are usually working on the fields at that time.
This is traditional Andean architecture. THese houses ae made out of mudbrick, sadly as a direct result of prosperity people are now building houses in brick with ho traditional architectural values on them so more comfortable but not as pretty.

A snapshot, really. I would really like to see something else in here, someone walking down this alley...the shadows are great, but the frame is just too empty and just the house as your subject makes the shot very boring. There is nothing here to catch my attention.

Ciao Daniel, nice view of that small illage. the blue big doors are wonderful, and its remember me the ones that i saw in Tunisia.
in my opinoin you took that image too close to the buildings (probably cause the street was not large!).
thanks, ciao

Hi Daniel,
there are no people ... I think it's ok.
I like the perspective, the shadows and the colours.
Certainly it is not dynamic, it's a kind of monotony and even moody. I guess it is what you wanted to show.

Hej Daniel,
Good angle to show this street. I like the play between light and shadow. Fine colours as well, good work!

Hi Daniel, I would like to see some people too maybe but then again not every shot needs people. I think have about 60% photos without any people in my PBase gallery. I appreciate the work then. Maybe I would change the angle a bit, open up more of that open space at the end of the house and include that entire door. Other than that, I dont really have amny beefs with it.

Bonsoir Daniel,
Amicalement, Brigitte
P.S. Tu as vu, la date est fixée:

his is really a very crafty picture.
Very good composition. The perfect placed blue elements. The deserted atmosphere. Great!!

Hi Daniel! I do like this image. To me it has lots of interest. Perhaps one problem that people are seeing is that the strongest areas of your photograph--the "thirds"--are lack important subjects or details. For example, I love the blue on the white, so moving the door at right to a "third"--perhaps the bottom right third--would help communicate the lovely white and blue contrast better. Anway, as I said, I like the image and enjoy seeing the textures and colors.
