Photographer’s Note
On the seven hour bus journey from Lima to Huaraz we climbed to over 4000m, went over a pass until we reached a high plain. As we did so we were afforded our first view of the Andes. On the grass plain below llamas and cattle grazed.
This shot was taken from the bus whilst it was moving using my EF 28-135mm IS lens.

Hi,
Nice light and landscape.
Good different layers and sky; even without foreground.

Great light, emphasizing the topography of the mountain. I would have tried a lower angle, with more plains and less sky. I think this beautiful image deserves better post-processing but I might be wrong - maybe it's just the haze in the air.
