Photographer’s Note

This small Peruvian boy is not happy. He is crying. He is going to part with his pet. He is bringing his favorite sheep to the Pisac market to sell it and to buy for the money obtained salt, candles and other important goods, his family cannot produce themselves. Not a happy situation at all. A situation from the real life.

Ironic to the situation, the sheetps expressions are quite comfortable. I guess it doesn't know its going to lose a loving master. Very detailed capture.

We can see that sadness in his expression.
It´s an emotional picture, not only by itself but also because of what we can read in the note! An the notes exists exactly to do that, to be an extension of the photo!

Great moment captured here. Powerful emotion. I like the DOF you have, but the flash seems to have washed out some of the lamb's head and back. You might try burning it a little in PP, though I'm not actually sure what the best solution would be.

Great picture. You captured very well the sadness of the kid, and the focus really helps in that, making him look so alone among this crowded street.
