Photographer’s Note
Wildlife photography isn't really my forte, but a trip to the Amazon in May gave me the unmissable chance to try my hand at it. The diversity of animal and plant life there is awe inspiring and it surrounds you at every turn.
This is a tiny bird called a flycatcher. They're not difficult to spot in this part of the Amazon. I spotted this one about 140 kilometers west of Iquitos on the Yanayacu River.

Very, very nice! Birds can be difficult to photograph, so this is impressive. I really like the composition also, with the bird to one side and the branch stretching up to the right. Excellent!

è semplicemente la foto di un uccellino, ma diventa un immagine stupenda per i giochi e le linee del fondo, che rendono questa immagine veramente bella!!

Excellent presentation of this little fellow Todd. Perfect dof, the saturated colour setting, lines and diagonals works perfect together in this very well disposed compo where also the light managment is masterly managed.

Very nice capture Todd, the diagonal of the hanger makes for good composition. Lovely bird with nice colouring and markings. Well done.
