Photographer's Note
This arch is pictured all over the place in Peru -- it's one of the main attractions on Lake Titicaca, besides the lake itself. As much as I tried to resist, once I was there and saw the arch, I had to try and get a picture of it; which is easier said than done when there are a handful of tourists following your every move. It's really like the archway leading up to the sky because when you're on the lake you really feel as if you could just reach your hand up and touch the sky, steal a bit for a memento, and with a few more steps you would be a part of it yourself.

Hi Rebecca... IŽve been in this place and I made a lot of photos but not as good as this one. I like the boat under the door and youŽ ve portrait the blues as magic as they are. Wonderful place. Thanks for bring it here to TE.

very good framing, and I like the frame inside your frame made by the arch and the lovely painting inside of it with the boat and the line made by it. the blue is beautiful and I like the details of the little face statues on both sides of the arch. welcome on TE !

Rebecca,
The blue of the lake is beautiful - lake Titicaca is amazing
I like the fact that the arc is not in the center.

Hi Rebecca
Good composition.
I am seeing this arch for the first time and as I am preparing a trip there next year,I find it a good idea to know what to look for.
Good choice of POV and very sharp.
Have a good weekend.
Charles
