[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
We did a few small treks from Huarez to get a bit fit and acclimatize to the altitude, one of which was to walk up the valley to the bottom of Ishinka. We spent a couple of nghts camping up in this beautiful spot, where there was no-one except a couple of climbers. For us it was quite a hard walk - it started very hot, and the path went uphill all the way, about 1000m up - hard work for the unfit unaclimatized with full camping packs. We soon toughened up.
I am not sure of the exact altitude here, probably about 4300m.

Hello David! Great photo of mountains again! I love this water in the foreground! Well done!

Léonie

I love the range of the colours here - the great placing of the orange range of colours in the foreground and the predominance of blues ( and whites) further back (along with the stunning scenery) makes this a great picture to visit in the sense of experiencing something of what itis like to be there.

Nice composition with stream on the foreground and snowed mountains in the distance. I suppose it was cold enough there...
Thanks for share.

I like very much the different textures and how the composition has those curves and lines..
good light over the icy and rocky mountains.
