[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Taken on Amantani Island on Lake Titicaca. The island is quite small and is populated by a number of indian families. They engage in a simple lifestyle, growing their own foods, fishing etc. The women wear brightly coloured skirts of green, red and blue, intricately embroided waistbands, shirts and head dresses, their long hair held in plaits. The island has no electricity or running water but it does have.... a concrete soccar field. When there we were challenged to a game of soccar 'Gringos' versus the locals. At an altitude of approx 4000m it was a tough game!!! The ladies pictured were amused by our lack of high-altitude fitness while we slowly collapsed to the ground.

Cropped, slight saturation, sharpened, little else. I've left them at a distance to show their clothing and the football 'stands'.I always welcome advice.

The image is very nice showing a different side of life. i wouldn't mind seeing one even closer up because they seem to have very pleasant faces. Nice work.

You have been to a lot fo good places on earth. This one is a candid take of these two unaware subjects. I would suggest an even tighter crop... the green on top is a bit distracting. Great colors and nice texture of the steps.

Good, vivid colors. The use of saturation here was of upmost importance to highlight the colorful embroidery and also the red skirt of the left woman. By the way, what sort of neddle is she handling ?
I like very much the casual appearance of the scene... very typical fm the Andes.
The only remmark is that you've posted a tiny pic. There is plenty of pixels left.
