Photographer’s Note

This is the Chachani Volcano seen from the window of an airplane going from Arequipa to Lima at almost 18:00 hours. Maybe some 10 to 15 minutes after the plane took off.
The peak is at 6057 m above the sea level. It is not snow-covered all year round. For more information follow the links in Wikipedia.
That afternoon Arequipa was overcast. These clouds can be seen at the 'base' of the volcano and all around it.
Because it was already late afternoon and the sun wasn't shining brigthly any more, I used ISO 800 to take the picture in P mode. Because of this ISO rating, is the picture a little bit pixelated.
I PP the picture just a little in PS and also applied USM after resizing.
Certainly the window of the plane was not very clean, so that uncleanlines also contributed to the not-so-perfect quality of the picture.
