Photographer’s Note

I was cycling down a bumpy, dusty road near Cusco when I noticed these two women weaving on the side of the road. The woman was making a blanket, which can take up to three months to complete. Their headpieces are unique to the area and are intricately beaded.

A fine and interesting picture of obvious ethnographic value. A good POV, but there's a red hue to the photo that I've tried to remove in a workshop. I hope you won't mind.

Another eye catching shot with the striking colours. My eyes were bouncing back forth between the two women and I almost missed the child. Good decisive moment shot.
