By Anouar Brahem
In the morning, one person of the group asked the guide "how come we do not see cats while dogs are plentiful"
Apparently cats do not fare well in altitude, in the rarefied oxygen, was the answer.
So to every rule, there is an exception, at least in the French language, I am presenting you the exception. As we were passing the open door of a small store, I glanced this cat, black against the white of the scale, watching the door, so I had to back a few steps, aimed to bring this image.
Hope you will like it, the moderators in particular.

i am not a cat lover but this one is really cute... not only the chat noir but the compo in general is very balanced and successful charles... my compliments...

korkut

Bonsoir Charles,

Pierre

Hi Charles,
Amazing contrast the cat has given the scene... it looks like a figurine actually. Well captured and composed with good image clarity. Well done! tfs
Cheers,
Renier

A+

Hi Charles,
well your note I find very interesting about cats not doing so well in the thin air but dogs do. I wonder why that is. This is a different shot for you but I can understand why. Its not because the cat is pretty, or cute. Its just a demonstration that yes, there is at least one cat here..:o)
Hope your not superstitious seeing as though its a black one..:o)
TFS an interesting world

Salut Charles!,

A+

Flavia

Ghostlike eyes !!!!The black cat brings bad luck :)As Korkut said,me not a cat lover too,but this one is fascinating :)Good overall quality of this shot
A nice Sunday

Cordialement.

Bonsoir, Charles,
I love this shot. I once had a small cat that was that black and had such green eyes. I love the contrast against the white and the cat's relaxed pose just giving you that look. I like cats' attitudes.. Well seen and shown! Warm regards,
Shelly

Hi Charles,
A perfectly appropriate image, as you are presenting the cat within a cultural and physical context. I like the way the other objects in the scene complement and balance this fellow, particularly the scales. You were lucky there was not more reflection off the glass. The eyes here glow nicely for us. I like the shot very much.
John

Hi Cam,

I think this cat is wonderful (I love cats) and he seems to be used to cameras.

By the way... thank you for your suggestion (to create a theme for my favorite photos...).

TFS
Regards
Gatti Matti
