ONE OF THE UROS!

Visiting the URO'S FLOATING ISLANDS, in the BAY OF PUNO, in the TITICACA LAKE, was one of the highlights during my visit to that peruvian region (PUNO DEPARTMENT)!
A south american real version of the venetian gondolas! Maybe not that romantic, but just as thrilling, at an altitude of 3,800mabsl, with the houses and "islands" built with TOTORA straws and the mountains that surround them in the background!

Bonita imagem típica, num lugar mágico. espero que estas ilhas flutuantes não contribuem à poluição deste lago extraordinário. Bonita composição, embora ligeiramente demasiada centrada. Bravo.

Hi Neyvan,

I like this photo of the man from Uros in his traditional cap. A bit touristy but nice portrait. Interesting view on the floating villages on the Titicaca lake.

I looked to both WS's I prefer the "Image #1" I find this a wonderful portrait and excellent image, also perfect placed.

Olá Neyvan,

é um belo retrato. Gosto da expressão severa do guia. Legal você ter preservado o cenário, pois este faz um papel importante no contexto. A luz era suave e dourada, e é outra ótima característica técnica. A opção sugerida pelo Joël que você postou no ws me parece interessante também. Parabéns!

muito bom o retrato, só acho que vc poderia ter enquadsrado o rapaz um pouco mais para à direita, aqui ele ficou muito centrado na paisagem das ilhas de palha ao fundo. muito boa luz, cores ,a ssunto e nitidez. quando lá fui encontrei mais mulheres que homens. o remador que levava de um lugar para o outro , antes de desembarcar , recebia o seu dinheiro, imagino que eles já devam ter levado calote de turistas e assim os gringos não poderiam deixar de pagar.
