Photographer’s Note

The Costa Verde ("green coast") area has several beaches, which draw surfers and beachgoers alike in summertime. However, these rocky beaches are not as popular with bathers as the large, sandy beaches in the districts south of Lima, such as Santa María del Mar, Punta Hermosa and Punta Negra.

Fabulous colors with fascinating lighting. Very well composed. It might be a bit over sharpened, but only by a hair. TFS

Wonderful image: the boat, the sea and the pelican, so essential and so charming. A masterpiece in its genre.

Hello Assi,

What an odd reflection do you have here!!
Some interesting post processing has been done here for sure!
You have forgotten the wooden pole in the reflection. Hahaha.
And look at the bird, it's transparent in the reflections!!
The sun is only one light source, so you would never get two shadows in one another.
Funny. ;-)

I see you keep posting photos of these birds:) This one is also very beautiful, especially because of the colours and the composition. You placed the boat very well.
