Peru...
A country where the women bring lunch for their men at work...
Their men will bring money home at the end of the day.

Fine composition of the lucnh group and an interesting report as well.
Enjoy the eyes of the child whose attention you have captured.
Thanks for sharing George.

Truly amazing. You must have one of the most magnetic personalities in the world when you are behind that lens.
I live in awe of not just your abilities with the camera, but your apparent charisma.
When I say "thanks for sharing" I say that because I believe that folks could and would pay good money to look at the display you put forth for our view everyday. Available right from our living room couch, while we are watching "ER" - until one of your images pops up in the gallery. Then those moving pictures give way totally to your world.
No butt kissing here, although that could be misconstrued, but again, Thanks for sharing!

If you ever visit Madrid, which would be a clever choice, I can bring you to places just like this, not sure if they will allow you to make them photos, but exactely like this, also with peruvian people... Is this globalitation in photo making? Damm-it, it´s just 8:33 AM here and this Polonaise is already making me think over!

hi, G.
this must be one of your signature shots. all the required elements are there: mud, spit, sweat and PRESENCE :) I see, they accepted you as one of their own. there must be something special about the way you approach strangers with your camera.
best

Hello George,
Are you sure you are Polish and not Peruvian? You seem to be with them, as their brother or their fellow worker. They are natural, they are doing their daily activities, they have invited you at the best table you can have, the ground.
You keep of amazing me with your way to approach people. I know, you might get tired of reading from me that same comment, but gosh! I can't help it. It is impressive...
The high-key lighting of the background is good. It help to concentrate on the foreground, exactly where our attention should be.
Ha! Ha! There is one who's looking at you! :)
Give me that Peru anytimes!

Judging by your POV, you were probably sitting with them and maybe shared their lunch ? I would have loved to join your company...
A friendly photo of people who don't seem unhappy nor miserable, enjoying to be together during the pause.
Nice piece of reportage, your Peru is a wonderful one...
