KNOWING THE WORLD WE LIVE IN THROUGH PHOTOGRAPHY:

MIRAFLORES - LIMA - PERU - This day I walked around the newest and most modern part of Peru's Capital City.
Miraflores is one the districts of that city and it has a pretty different coastline, with some volcanic cliffs.

MIRAFLORES - LIMA - PERU - Neste dia, passeei pela parte mais nova e mais moderna da Capital do Peru. Miraflores é um dos bairros daquela cidade, que tem uma orla bem diferente, com falésias de origem vulcânica.

MIRAFLORES is a district of the LIMA Province in Peru. Known for its shopping areas, gardens, flower-filled parks and beaches, it is one of the upscale districts that make up the city of Lima.

Originally founded as San Miguel de Miraflores, it was established officially as a district on January 2, 1857. As a result of the Battle of Miraflores fought during the War of the Pacific, Miraflores got the designation of Ciudad Heroica ("Heroic City"). The current mayor is Manuel Masias. que vista 'exquisite' como diriam os gringos. É, sem dúvida, uma cena bem interessante onde arquitetura e praia se integram muito bem. Interessante e bem composta. Bela fotografia!

não tive tempo para ver esta parte da cidade, me concentrei naquilo que mais gostava, que é conhecer monumentos históricos e casarões e igrejas. De qualquer maneira teria sido uma boa idéia. Gostei desta perspectiva, a luz está boa para mostrar detalhes de tudo, não ofusca nem rebrilha. Pena é o céu branco, mas isso faz parte da atmosfera limenha. belo trabalho

Wow! Great Point of view of Miraflores!
A lot more interesting than the classic shots of the Mall :D
I like the little paragliding details.
Of course it's hard to get a clear sky in polluted Lima, but you got the cliff just right.
