Photographer’s Note

This picture is another point of view of this other picture that I took 3 days earlier, almost from the same location but looking towards another direction.
This place is just a few kilometers from this other one, which is in practice the continental divide --the top of this mountain range.
The heavy and gray clouds climbing the mountains were in fact carrying a lot of rain. I was lucky to be here at this time of the day because, as I arrived to Lima some 4 hours later, I learned through the radio that there was hail falling here and that all vehicles were required to wait there until midnight. It can be very cold here in the night.
