Looking out at their city Photo

Photographer’s Note

This is the city of Huancayo, as seen from a hill path that take you to the "Peruvian Capadocia" which I will post later. Here we see some people relaxing on the slopes of the hill overlooking the city.

Huancayo is aboout 5 hours drive East of lima and it is the main city of the central Andes. It has a population of 400,000 people and its a commercial center were farmers from the surrounding areas come to supply themselves and to sell their production. It is a modern city with very little colonial architecture. Most of the houses are built in raw brick.

I took another photo with a different angle which I am posting as a workshop. Please let me know which one you like best.

Uuuh, quelle vue impressionnante sur la ville. Ce que j'aime le plus ici c'est ce batiment vert, completement extra terrestre par rapport aux autres.

Superbe point de vue , on se rend bien compte de l'architecutre de la ville, et j'aime bcp le groupe de personnes au premier plan.

La profundidad de campo es excelente aquí, es una visión interesante del país, no la típica postal. Me gusta el toque humano de la esquina inferior izquierda.

Hi Daniel,
The green building is eyecatching and a good entry point as from there the edge of the roofs points toward the city and guide our eyes right to the distant mountains. The people in the foreground helps to reinforced this mood of enjoying the cityscape. Well done!! Best regards.

ca devient une habitude, j'attends tous les jours ta publication. j'y retrouve à chaque fois une palette de couleurs / une lumière que je ne retrouve pas ailleurs. j'aime vraiment bcp.
cette compo est à mon avis meilleure que le ws. les hommes se détâchent bien de la ville et l'état contemplatif est bien restitué.

I preffer this picture. The one in WS has that round glass roof house that disturb me - but I guess - what you see is what I got ;) anyway all of them are nice telling story pictures. TFS.

Très belle image aérienne et bien éclairée.
Ces villes semblent baties sans plans d'urbanisme. Ca donne un coté un peu bidonville.
Je ne sais pas ce que l'on ressent à l'intérieur.

the devil has recover his poncho ! a big town. i like your POV and frame. the foreground with guys looking at town brings a good depth.
