Photographer’s Note

Hello everyone, I am uploading my frist picture from Peru into TE. I am currently in an internet cafe in Huancayo zere they had photoshop so that I could play zith the image size. Otherwise I have done nothing to it other than a bit of cropping.

Huancayo is the largest Peruvian city in the Andes. It has 400,000 people and is quite prosperous coññerical center serving all the villages and cities in a fez hundred kiloñeter radius. This is a mural in a government health center promoting birth control pracises and a poor woman who obviously didnt practise any.

For your human subject the message came too late. The composition is great witht headvertisment big as life and the reality of life hidden in a corner.
Perfect composition and so very well seen.
Enjoy your time in Peru.

strong compo with this advert for the planification (happy family) and the real life ... the light is a little harsh, but it enhaunce the message.

(doesnt look so sharp though.. i wonder if this is because of the lens, or no PP?)

Sympa cette photo avec d'un côté une image d'une famille heureuse et de l'autre une famille bien réelle qui semble moins heureuse.

Hi Daniel! I see what you were going for here, and it's an interesting image that definately informs about the world, but I don't think it's your best in terms of aesthetics.

The sun is too prominent making the lighting very boring. And the pavement in general seems a little empty.

Anyways, I hope you're having a great time in Peru! I myself never made it to the south of the country when I was there in '99, so I'm looking forward to more posts!

Very colourful photo. I like the colourful letters and the painting, but like thpfister said: a shame that one leg is missing. Apart from that: well done and thanks for sharing.
