Photographer’s Note
Living in a desert the ancient people of Nazca was obligated to find sources of water and ways to preserve it. They build a system of channels and dams taking subterranean waters and bringing it from the high areas to the lowest areas and weting the fields. These spiral holes were used to clean the channels, used to take water to domestic use and was a way to let pressure go away from the system during the floods.Unfortunately there was a strong light in the moment I took this shot but I choose this photo cause I wanted you had a sense of scale seeing people entering into the hole..

un endroit que je n'ai pas eu l'occasion de visiter n'étant pas dans le programme, une spirale de ce puit bien cadrée, avec une lumier divine
