La vieja chola Photo

Photographer’s Note

another view from Natural park of Paracas. It is almost the same of last photo I put in TE but the POV is different, I think here we can have a better view of that old woman (una chola) seated in the top of the rocks, facing the sea.

PS- this arch was demolished after a big earthquake that hit Pisco-Paracas region in 2007. Nature created it and itself demolished it..Sorry for that ones never saw it up.

This looks like taken from a plane.
Good shot of this interesting place.Good sharpness at this bizarre rockformation and great depth.Good colorcontrast too.
I`ve been ther some years ago but unfortunatelly I had no blue sky.

Hi,

Even this arch was destroyed after earthquake? Incredible and sad. I was here. So now it exists only on photos, memories and films.

You have captured this spectacular view very well. As I will never see this scene thank you for posting it. It reminds me of photos of the 12 Apostles on the Great Ocean Road in Victoria, Australia - I have never seen those either. Tfs, Marlene
