Photographer’s Note
This is the train which is called "el tren macho". It covers the 130 - 140 km distance between Huancayo and Huancavelica in about 6 hours. It is made up of the locomotive, 3 passenger wagons and a couple of cargo ones.
It goes through some very amazing scenery including valleys with walls of mountains. Finally arriving in the cute city of Huancavelica which seems to be cut off from the rest of the world.
Here we are arriving to the outskirts of the city.

Hi Daniel, on dirait vraiment un western - splendide composition et couleurs - le ciel et les montagnes sont splendides -
Bon week end
Merci
gaby
PS : tu as raison, Gobou est un prénom assez courant en Guinée Forestière

Salut daniel
I like the unusual perspective, looking towards the front engine of the train. At 1st, I thought the train was coming towards you. Well seen!

Hi Daniel,
Very nice to take this shot from the train. It is nicely placed in the shot. I like that rough landscape, very nice capture, well done.

Indeed a shot taken like we could see often in films from there, certainly your deep coloring and a dynamic compo with the train really on the side.
Nicely captured.

That must have beem quite a ride on the back of this train, looks like you were hitching an illegal ride:) This has a feeling from those old cowboy movies set in the 18th centuey. All you need are the indians attacking this train. Coool shot, Daniel.
