A little corner of the Andes
This is just a small, picturesque corner of the small picturesque city of Huancavelica. 35,000 inhabitants, capital of the department of the same name, one of the most remote in Peru and not very well connected to the rest of the country. Easiest way to get there is with the "macho train" which leaves from Huancayo and covers the 120 km distance in 6 hours, a
spectacular ride (will post pictures of it later)
The city is small, pretty, colourful and there are abosulutely no tourists!
A true gem.

Very nice shot. Good perspective showing us the belfry on the right. Very good composition: the man cycling ont he right adds a special flair to the composition. Excellent colours and contrast. Well done!

Well done for this one Daniel, taking it just before the guy comes into the shadow.

une chouette composition, qui souffre un peu de la grosse masse ombragée en bas à droite. Le rendu des couleurs est bon, l'exposition bien gerée pour les hautes lumieres.
Par contre j'aurais attendu 2 sec que le personnage soit plus dans le cadre, mais avant qu'il n'entre dans l'ombre, mais c'est un petit detail.
J'attends la suite avec impatience.

cette ville m'a l'air très jolie en effet, j'aime bien le detail des colonnes roses et la marchande ambulante.
le train s'appelle vraiment le macho train ? c'est rigolo !

Very good shot ! You composed it very well, the textures of the door, the wall and of the "portal"are really great. It looks a little dark in my monitor and a bit oversaturated, but it's fantastic.

J'aime bien la composition de cette image, bonne inclusion de cette belle porte et des 2 tours à l'intérieur.
Les couleurs sont superbes, renforcées par la belle lumière chaude.
Je regrette un peu l'ombre envahissante, sinon c'est tout bon !
