Photographer’s Note

Exactly the next photo I shot after taking this one. The same description as for that picture applies here, though this time I don't know the name of the mountain in the background, because it is certainly not Verónica.
The place is near the town of Maras, and this is from the bumpy road after visitng the Salinas de Maras going back to the main highway to Urubamba.
To this picture I changed the colour balance for the yellow ground differently as for the rest, as to increase a little the intenisty of the fields of (already harvested) wheat or barley. Two animals can be seen towards the right.

Oh, I see, the bullfighter have company now. ;-) It is again very nice shot Jurgen. Good segmentation between golden field, mountains and cloudy sky. Very nice colours too. You make me difficult to take decision where should I go with my holliday for a few weeks. ;-) But, it will be Croatia, for this time, because I go tomorow...

Great colours and very good composition, the contrast between the forground to the backgroung is very good, the contrast seemed to be little bit high.

Hermosa composicion Jurgen.
La espectacularidad de esas montañas, ese cielo plomizo y como en la imagen anterior, la inclusion de los animales dentro de la escena... 10 puntos.
El unico detalle es el contraste un poco elevado.

Great photo Jurgen, The Rochies are so strong. Maybe the saturation is to high, but well done.

That's just lovely. It is just layer upon layer of texture and colour. The two animals add scale and dimension to the image. It's a shame the picture got a little blown out in the highlights around the centre mountain and clouds, but it adds to the gritty charm of the whole photo.

I feel like there is almost too much yellow. i know this was what you were going for, but maybe you could tune it down a little. I do really enjoy the composition though.

good , even excellent colors. bad focus and DOF. you should have used a tripod. missed opportunity to have an excellent shot. good luck next time

Hola Jurgen, me gusta la composición, disfruto de la hermosa combinación de dorado, café, azul y blanco, me fascinan los campos dorados y este tiene un color resplandeciente justo alrededor de los animales, los detalles de la iluminación son muy buenos, resaltan agradablemente ante la impactante presencia de las sombras de las montañas y del efecto de las nubes. Excellent contrast between the warm field and the frozen mountains. It's a very dramatic landscape. And the clouds really further the drama. It's just a really amazing view. Great job sharing it with us.

A slight lack of shrpness on this one,, but your composition is really fine, wonderful sight, this almost orange field with the mountains in background is very nicely cought, with a good depth. Well done Jurgen.
