Photographer's Note
I caught this sat in a cafe late one afternoon. The sun that lit up the kite so much was very strong and I had to balnce the camera while trying to sheild the lens with my hands.
A beautiful little village, very chilled and away from the tourist husstle and bustle..

Hi Duncan,
I love the boys silhuete and the "burning" kite. The B&W is nice here. I took a similar kind of picture of a group of girls in Ollantaytambo, but yours in B&W works better.

hello Duncan,
this is nice and atmospheric. Works well in black and white.

Hi Duncan, the composition is excellent but unlike Flavia, I find the halo-ing effect around the kite (and, to a lesser extent, around the children) distracting. A very nice photograph otherwise, with a timeless quality. Stephen

Fantastic work using shapes and light. It is a pity it is so small.

Yo Duncan,
Once again a really atmospheric shot here. The composition is great with good lead in lines from the string of the kite. The way that they are illuminated by the sunlight with reversed silhouettes is great and the slight grain gives it a real authentic quality.
Cheers.

I like this one a lot too. it's not often that all these ingredients come together before the camera and you honestly got it! just a humble suggestion, but i think this image would benefit from a slight crop to give more immediate presence to the kids and the dog...I'd crop a little from the right and then a bit more from the bottom...almost up to the boy's shadow...just a suggestion. well done
