Photographer’s Note
During the turn of Ausangate, we stopped a few tens of minutes to visit the house of this Andean family.
3 generations on this photograph but since how long live on Altiplano?
They live primarily of the breeding of the alpacas, by reselling their wool at the village of Tinqui for the creation of clothing.
I wished repost this shot that I like and then I benefit from it to show you the original color (gross of scan).
The wall being really over-exposed, I found conversion N&B almost obligatory.
What do you think about it?
Good WE

Hi Philippe.
Ottima composizione.

A bientôt

BIen vu.

Hello Philippe.
I think the B&W conversion was a good choice. The dress and style of the family is incredible, but the contrast between them and the wall behind is amazing. The you child catches my attention though. Looking at you with a quizzical look upo his face, he stands upon his little pedestal.
Very fine capture.

CHris

Hi Philippe,
it might lack a bit of sharpness but it's a fine image...i particulary enjoy the look on the small kid's face...pity one of the women does not look at your direction...B&W make it look quite vintage...beautiful people...cheers, arturo

Hi Philippe,
Here a nice B&W shot.
The wall as you mentioned is over-exposed but I think making it a B&W was a good decision.
Being in peru is a dream for me.
Thanks for sharing this great shot
Cheers.

Bonjour Philippe,

Wow Philippe,
Amazing shot. The dresses and the hats attract from the thumbnail itself. The length of thread brings the prespective and this is a gypsy family, i think.

Salut Philippe

Interesting display of local costumes. I think the black&white suits this photo perfectly.
Congratulations and thanks for sharing,
Ana
