Photographer’s Note

At the beginning of Tinqui, we left little by little civilization to isolate to us at the edges from Ausangate… It was the last farm which we were going to see before a few days.

What I liked, it was the prospect given by the enclosing wall.

C'est hauts plateaux péruviens ressemblent franchement avec ces voisins boliviens. Les sommets enneigés me font penser à eceux de la cordillère royale. Je trouve cela fantastique

Bonjour Philippe,
Paysage de désolation, mais splendide. La dominante jaune ajoute encore à cet effet. On est loin de tout, mais certains vivent encore ici, c'est extraordinaire. Impressionnant cliché.

Belle mise en valeur de ce paysage inhospitalier. C'est marrant de voir que même au milieu de nulle part, l'homme a besoin de délimiter son territoire. Belle image.

Lorsqu'on s'installe dans cette ferme, il faut être sûr d'avoir tout prévu.
Je pense que le magasin du coin doit être plutôt loin !! Belle compo, bon cadrage.

Je l'aime beaucoup celle-là : effectivement, la perspective de l'enclos, le plateau, les collines puis les montagnes enneigées, le ciel, la ferme se confondant presque dans le paysage.

This is a great record of human habitation, hanging on, on the edge of the wilderness. It is quite moving. I like the way the v shape made by the farm wall is echoed by the line of the mountains, making a zig zag composition down the picture. It is a wonderful record of the harshness and beauty of this landscape. regards Kevin
