Photographer's Note
The best way to visit Machu Picchu is to trek the Inca Trail. But for those who don't feel up to the 4-day walk, it's also possible to let the train take the strain. This train is named after Hiram Bingham, the American explorer who re-discovered the lost city of the Incas in 1911.

Looks kind of fun also, though I've heard it's super expensive. Maybe a good compromise is to walk one way, and train it back, until, and if, that new bridge is opened. Good clear shot of it in appropriate landscape.

Hi Colin!
Great shot and good composition with the diagonal of the train. The deep blue is a great contrast withe the nearly vegetationless landscape, and it`s a nice view at the snowy peaks in the background.

Hi Colin!
A nice one, the train's colour is intense. I'd suggest a lower PoV and showing more of it at the far back. But it's quite OK as it is.

OI,
(PT) boa foto, boa cor. Se a ângulo estivesse mais aberto penso que ficaria melhor.
(EN) good photo, good color. If the angle more was opened thinks that it would be better.
Note: You are invited to visit Portugal, to add to already the your long list of países.Portugal has a natural light very good to photograph.

They've certainly chosen a nice colour for their train - and you've captured it well, too. But what really makes the picture is the geometry; the lines of the train and tracks intercutting the curve of the mountains. Great photo!

Hi Colin, really nice composition with those snow capped mountains in the background. Looks like it should be in their brochure ! Best regards, Roberto
