(Series on my Trip to PERU - South America - THE SACRED VALLEY near CUSCO - From September 6th to 22nd, 2007 - # 008 !)

VALLE SAGRADO - SACRED VALLEY - Very close to the city of CUSCO, this valley is full of attractions such as PISAC and OLLANTAYTAMBO ! Here, the first view we had in the beginning of the one-day tour around the area!

A WS version available: a Jonathan Hart's idea - I cropped the top part of the picture, eliminating the whitish and brighter (over-exposed) clouds!

Another WS version: narrower rectangular one!

Hello Neyvan,
A great perspective along this beautiful river valley with patchwork of multi-coloured fields. Interesting light and shadow contrasts between foreground and background. Very good sharpness throughout. Thanks for sharing.

the POV is great, fine framing but I would maybe crop out the too white clouds at the top

Esse vale deve ser mesmo sagrado, com toda essa beleza que você capturou.Essas montanhas se entrecruzando até ficarem com as cores esmaecidas fizeram toda a perfeição da foto.O primeiro plano com essas cores lindas também contribuiu para o excelente resultado final.

Very good capture of this impressive Andes landscape. You show very well how small the fertile part is in this enormous rough mountainous land where the Urubamba swings through. The green fields are fascinating.

What a dramatic but still so beautiful landscape. This POV is really good showing all those mountains and the valley perfectly. Great colors and composition. I like those little fields in the foreground.

What a beautiful landscape and an excellent photo! I like the composition where the mounting slopes form several cascading diagonals and where also the foreground has several interesting details.
